This component is a plugin which is triggered when images are downloaded through the file manager. It automatically compresses the image and do with it whatever you want with the help of rules snippet PhpThumbOf. It can create a preview of the images and place them in specially designated folder. With the plugin parameters you can configure its behavior when working with certain folders and their subfolders. You can disable the change of image to download a special text when specifying the file or loading them into specific folders. So, no more need to worry about the size of pictures uploaded by configuring this plugin once you forget about this issue and usability of your projects will be even better.
