TryGlasses

Package Description

TryGlasses adds a virtual try-on widget to your eyewear store. Customers can try glasses using their camera directly on product pages. The plugin auto-injects a customizable "Try On" button, connects to the TryGlasses API for 3D model rendering, and includes a full admin panel for managing API keys, catalog mapping, widget styling, and product digitization — no coding required.

Usage/Installation Instructions

Installation

Install the package via MODX Package Manager.

Configuration

1. Go to Extras → TryGlasses in the MODX Manager
2. In the Connection tab, enter your TryGlasses API URL and API Key
3. Click Check Connection to verify, then Save
4. In the Field Mapping tab, select your product template and catalog container
5. In the Widget tab, customize the button appearance

Button Placement

Add <div id="tryglasses-tryon-block"></div> to your product template where you want the button, or specify a CSS selector in Widget settings.

Manual Snippet Usage

Use [[TryGlasses]] in your template for manual widget placement.
